Accra, June 13, 2025 \u2014 The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie (M.P), on Friday held a strategic meeting with representatives of the Akuna Group at her office to explore potential collaborations in Ghana\u2019s tourism and creative arts sectors.
\nThe engagement focused on aligning the Akuna Group\u2019s proposed initiatives with the Ministry\u2019s broader objectives of revitalizing the cultural and creative landscape and promoting sustainable tourism.
\nWelcoming the delegation, Hon. Gomashie reaffirmed government\u2019s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for private investment and innovation. She underscored the vital role of partnerships in preserving Ghana\u2019s cultural heritage and achieving national tourism goals.
\nSpeaking on behalf of the Akuna Group, Ms. Efua Amoah expressed appreciation for the opportunity and reiterated the Group\u2019s dedication to supporting the growth of Ghana\u2019s tourism industry. She revealed the Group\u2019s intention to invest in the film industry, including plans to develop a film village near Christiansburg Castle in Osu, and support capacity-building initiatives within the creative sector.
\nHon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie commended the Akuna Group\u2019s proactive approach and expressed confidence in the potential impact of such collaborations on national development. She encouraged continued dialogue and innovation in expanding Ghana\u2019s creative economy.
