Shai Hills, Accra \u2013 July 18, 2025 \u2014 Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, joined the Global Evangelical Church at Shai Hills to officially launch the Church\u2019s National Women\u2019s Rally and Conference. Her participation highlighted the increasing acknowledgment of women\u2019s critical contributions to spiritual leadership and community development in Ghana.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Women\u2019s Bible Class of the Church, the event drew women from across the country for a day of worship, reflection, and fellowship. With the central theme of spiritual renewal and national transformation, the rally emphasized the indispensable role of faith in fostering societal progress.<\/p>\n
In her keynote address, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts lauded the Women\u2019s Bible Class for their unwavering dedication to faith and nation-building adding that, it is refreshing to see such dedication to godly values that leads to building great communities.<\/p>\n
Citing Matthew 5:14\u201316, \u201cYou are the light of the world \u2014 like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden,\u201d the Minister called on the congregation to rise above fear and serve as bold agents of change. \u201cThis is a challenge to rise above fear and become bold agents of light and change in a troubled world,\u201d she reiterated.<\/p>\n
Rev. Jedidiah Azumah, Tema Presbytery Chairman and officiating minister for the celebration, in his sermon focused on truthfulness and moral integrity. He encouraged the faithful to reject ungodly behaviors such as dishonesty and misconduct, and instead cultivate a generation rooted in Christian moral values.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts reaffirmed its support for such faith-based initiatives, recognizing their role in promoting unity, ethical living, and Ghana\u2019s rich cultural heritage.
