The Ghana Dance Ensemble, one of the three resident performing groups of the National Theatre of Ghana, delivered another spellbinding performance on February 4, 2026, at the Grand Chaupal (Open-Air Theatre).
This second appearance at the ongoing Surajkund International Crafts Fair showcased the vibrant energy and rhythmic precision that have made the National Theatre’s delegation a standout at this year’s festival. The performance reached a crescendo with a breathtaking duet that left the audience in awe, drawing massive approval from the crowd.
As a professional arm of the National Theatre, the ensemble continues to bridge the gap between “Local and Global” the central theme of the 2026 Mela through live percussion and authentic choreography.
