We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred during the Surajkund Festival, following the collapse of a chain at the Adventure and Amusement Zone on Saturday, 7th February 2026. This heartbreaking accident claimed the life of a courageous police officer and left thirteen individuals injured.
We honour the officer’s sacrifice and extend our heartfelt prayers for the recovery of those injured. In this moment of sorrow, we stand in solidarity with the organisers, participants, and the wider community.
The Surajkund Festival has always been a celebration of culture, creativity, and unity. Even in the face of this tragedy, its spirit will continue to inspire resilience and togetherness.
